LANGUAGE SUPPORT

USP offers an online Portuguese course (Level A1) for all Exchange Students once Students can begin the course before she/he arrives to USP.

At FEUSP, we offer Portuguese Language Tutoring sessions at the Center for Studies and Research on Language Teaching (CEPEL), located in Building B, room 11. Sessions can be arranged by sending na email to inco@fe.usp.br .

The Interdepartamental Center of Languages at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Human Sciences (Centro Interdepartamental de Línguas da FFLCH) offers a paid course of Portuguese for foreign students who need to improve their skills. INTERACTION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES AT FEUSP

All undergraduate classes and most graduate classes are delivered in Portuguese, but we have Faculty members who speak other languages and can assist students while they are adapting to our Academic life and Culture.

ACCOMODATION, DINING PLAN AND CAMPUS LIFE

University of São Paulo does not have accommodation for foreign students, but it has a dining plan for all the students enrolled, with meals offered at a very low price (Breakfast: R$ 0.50, Lunch/Dinner: R$ 2.00 each).

Students can also use the campus bus service freely provided they have the BUSP card.

Student volunteers who participate in the USP ifriends program may also help foreign students with different activities around the city.
