III Internationalization Seminar

The School of Education International Office – CCInt-FE, held, on May 25th and 26th, 2017, the III Internationalization Seminar, 32 international experiences were presented covering research, teaching and extension.

These experiences, developed in 4 continents (Africa, America, Europe and Asia), were presented by professors of School of Education (FE), professors of foreign institutions coordinating agreements with the FE or interested in establishing agreements, by students of the FE who did exchange program abroad or by foreign students who are enrolled in the FE, as well as of employees.

Foreign participants come from the following universities: The Ohio State University (USA), Universidad de La Plata (Argentina), Universidade Pedagógica de Moçambique, Université de Strasbourg (France), Universidad de Cartagena (Colombia), Universidad Humanismo Cristiano (Chile), Université de Soubornne (France) and University of Tsukuba (Japan).

Our students have shared their experiences at universities: Universidad Nacional de Tumbes (Peru), Universidad de Antioquia (Colombia), Aarhus University (Denmark), Universita Ca’Foscari (Italy), Universidad Pedagogica Francisco Morazan  (Honduras) , Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), Aichi University of Education (Japan) and University of Johannesburg (South Africa).

The tables were coordinated by the FEUSP professors department heads and committee chairs.

We also had the presence of Dr. Moacyr Ayres Filho, associate director in the area of academic mobility of AUCANI (USP International Office) and of the employee Patrícia Lima also of the academic mobility area of AUCANI, FEUSP Vice-Dean, Dr. Diana Gonçalves Vidal and the Chair of CCInt-FE, Dr. Valdir Heitor Barzotto.

The French / Congolese student made an artistic presentation with typical WALA dances from the Congo.

All the presentations contributed to think about the internationalization process of our University. The discussions were fruitful to understand what the internationalization of the university is, and will contribute to the formation of new international academic agreements and to the improvement of our integration policy.
