In this lecture, I would explore how Paulo Freire’s notion of conscientization can be rethought alongside posthumanist perspectives to address the challenges and opportunities posed by artificial intelligence in education. Particular attention will be given to epistemic agency and the risks of epistemic bubbles, as well as the ways in which teachers and learners can imagine “learning otherwise” in today’s global and digital contexts.
